It’s typically your last chance to order gifts at low prices from online retailers directly to your home in time for Christmas. eBay coined the term “Green Monday” in 2009, referring to their most profitable sales day of that December. “Green” does not refer to anything environmental or eco-friendly related, but rather, to the financial savings customers receive and the returns online retailers enjoy during this busy holiday shopping period.
